Gum Removal in Cinemas

August 25, 2008 · Posted in Commercial · Comment

When one owns a place of business, such as a movie theaters/cinema, it is important that the environment is comfortable for customers. This comfort factor makes gum removal in movie theaters/cinemas a matter of concern. After all, a moviegoer who finds gum stuck somewhere on his or her clothing is not often a happy customer. She or he may not return; it may be decided that it would be better to frequent a movie theater/cinema where gum removal is taken more seriously.

Gum removal in movie theaters/cinemas: a more pressing concern.

What makes gum removal in cinemas more pressing than gum removal in other businesses is the nature of this business. After each showing of a movie, another group of customers moves into the semi-dark cinema to enjoy the movie. Most cinemas hurriedly engage in quick carpet cleaning and sweeping, but stain removal is reserved for when there is more time to remove carpet stains and stains to the seats.

Chewing gum, however, is another story. If the chewing gum pollution in the cinema is not observed and then taken care of immediately, then an unwitting customer may sit or step in the gum. Gum removal in cinemas is important to take care of these problems. If the customer sits on gum, that person will be upset that the cinema has not received proper cleaning services prior to his or her sitting down. If the customer steps on gum, that gum may be tracked all over the cinema, or embedded in the carpet, leaving stains and forcing a method of removing chewing gum from carpets to preserve the clean and comfortable appearance of the cinema.

Successful businesses are not plagued by uncleanliness. This is where gum removal in cinemas comes in. A preponderance of carpet stains, dirty washrooms, and chewing gum decorated cinema seats indicate a sleazy joint, not a respectable cinema. In order to keep your cinema in good shape, it is important to make sure that you have the cleaning products to take care of all of these problems, especially chewing gum soiling, as gum often results in the spread of stains and problem areas, no matter where it is located.

Commercial cleaning supplies for gum removal can be expensive and even ineffective for the amount of money paid for them. Traditional chewing gum removers, such as an ice cube, do not work on hardened gum, and many of the freezing methods still require a great deal of work. What is needed is a gum remover that works quickly (so it can be used between shows) and is relatively inexpensive.

With Gum-Out, which has been on the market for 20 years and is a major contribution to cleaning technology, and is available at www.chewing-gum-removal.com, you can take care of gum removal in cinemas with relative ease. The Gum-Out release agent is applied by a special plastic injector, which breaks the bond between the gum wad and the surface into which it is stuck. The product is inexpensive, and works very well to rid your cinema of chewing gum pollution. Each bottle of Gum-Out if used as directed will remove up to 125 lumps of chewing gum.

Using MySpace Links For Commercial Advertising And Promotion

August 8, 2008 · Posted in Commercial · Comment

MySpace is a modern social phenomenon. Its accelerated growth is unmatched. But how did it grow and how did it grow so fast? After all, there were dozens of social networking sites preceeding it (Friendster, Classmates, and Ryze to name a few) but none have flourished as MySpace has. There are a couple of reasons, in my opinion, why MySpace has succeeded to a degree that none of the others have. First off, it is completely free to use the site. Secondly, MySpace allows for anybody to post links to other websites. In an online world where competition for links is fierce, MySpace freely allows it. So, people began using it to post links to their own commercial business websites. This is free advertising and whenever people can advertise for free they will.

The posting of links is one of the main reasons for the accelerated growth of MySpace, but an unintended consequence of this is that the website is now full of spam. Let’s take the business discussion forums in MySpace. I know it is full of spam because I’m a group moderator of one of the largest business groups on the site, the Business Networking group. Other popular business groups on the site include Small Business Entrepreneurs, Black Business Owners Network, Real Estate Networking, Startup FAQ, and Xtreme Motivators. I delete nine out of every ten topics posted for discussion in my group because they don’t have any value to the group. These posts that I delete include, mainly, MLM affiliate links, mortgage brokers and realtors seeking new business and sales leads, and business and website owners that use the group to link to their own website without adding any value to the discussions. It’s almost as if there are prompts to “add link” or “add URL.” The mainstream business magazines like Fortune, Business 2.0, and Inc Magazine add fuel to the fire by publishing stories of entrepreneurs that use MySpace to promote their business. These stories are not representative of how things actually work. They lead people to believe that all you have to do is post a link and your business will increase. This is not the case. MySpace users have become unresponsive to spam.

The discussion groups were meant to be a forum where like minded individuals can discuss common topics. This is the way it should be. Most of the moderators of the popular groups delete spam, just as I do. But you can promote your interests. The key is to do it in such a way as to not make it blatant spam. There are several ways to do this. The best way is to use a “signature” in your discussion posts. What you should do is you should join in on the discussions with valuable input. And, at the end of all your posts, include a signature, which would have info such as your name, phone number, email address, and a link to your website. This is an acceptable way to add a link to your website; doing this will not get your posts deleted. Also, include all of these items in your personal profile. Your profile is where you can tell people anything you want about yourself and your business.

MySpace is a great forum for networking and free advertising. But, you must do it in a way that adheres to the proper etiquette. Using the site to spam just annoys people and the consequences are negative.

Best Elliptical Trainer For Obese Trainees

August 2, 2008 · Posted in Commercial · Comment

Many people all over the world begin exercise programs with the goal of improving their health and fitness levels. The vast majority of these people also want to lose weight as part of their fitness goals. After all, who doesn’t want to shed a few pounds and a few inches? However, there is a group of people who face an even greater challenge in their fitness and weight loss goals. These are individuals who are classified as obese.

Before we go any further, it’s important to define what “obese” truly means because unfortunately, the word is often thrown around carelessly and has acquired the status of an insult in many situations. Very simply, it is a medical classification to categorize people who are 20% or more above their “ideal” weight. The real problem is that the ideal weight is often taken from height and weight charts that were concocted for the life insurance industry back after WWII. By these guidelines many elite athletes and body builders would be classified as obese!

Rather than going by a medical classification, it’s much more direct and accurate just go by actual body weight when selecting an elliptical trainer. At the end of the day, an elliptical trainer doesn’t care if you’re height and weight proportionate or you’re severely outside these guidelines. What matters is your actual body weight and if it can be safely supported by the elliptical trainer.

Unfortunately, some manufacturers of elliptical trainers grossly overstate the maximum weight capacity for their elliptical machines. There are way too many $300 elliptical trainers that claim they can accommodate 250 lbs, but wobble like crazy with a 125 lb user.

What you need to consider is if you’re 250 lbs and greater, then you’re going to need a heavy and solidly constructed elliptical trainer. Trainers that can safely support this load are generally in the commercial class of elliptical trainers. These are elliptical machines that can carry over 300 lbs. This becomes even more critical if you will be using your elliptical trainer aggressively. And by this, I mean at a high RPM as when engaging in high intensity interval training (HIIT).

A 250 – 300 lb trainee pounding away at over 70 RPM will put an incredible amount of stress on the frame and moving components of an elliptical trainer. A regular maintenance program for an elliptical trainer is recommended for all owners. It’s vital for heavier users. Be sure to inspect the welds and bolts for any signs of stress or looseness and repair as necessary.

Elliptical trainers are great fitness machines for trainees of all shapes and sizes. In fact, they are a terrific option for very heavy individuals who cannot safely use treadmills because of knee problems. There are elliptical trainers out there that can meet the needs of everyone.
